Role Summary CrowdStreet is seeking an Analyst with the primary responsibility of monitoring and supporting sponsors’ accountability throughout the post-fundraise reporting period for private commercial real estate assets and portfolios within our Investment Management (IM) division. You will have the opportunity to play a major role in the development of a unique and innovative alternative investment platform. This position reports to the Portfolio Manager. The Success You'll Build
- Serve as a resource for data entry, collection, research, analysis, and maintenance
- Enter data into CrowdStreet systems with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Facilitate communication between sponsor and investor on an as-needed basis, including reporting, corrections, training, and discipline
- Conduct or assist in the analysis of data
- Understand and present trends and anticipated outcomes in data
- Analyze property and fund financial statements to extract relevant data points
- Assist and support in the preparation of quarterly and annual investor reporting
- Assist and support in the preparation of quarterly and annual valuations, including document retrieval
The Experiences And Competencies Necessary For Success
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as real estate, finance, or data analytics
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to follow up and follow through
- Demonstrated ability to work with internal and external teams to complete project tasks and track statuses
- Strong analytical skills with an interest in real estate investment analysis
- High proficiency in MS Office or GSuite, especially Excel or Google Sheets
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- High motivation and resilience; ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while managing competing priorities
- Customer-centric attitude and excellent problem-solving skills
- Curiosity and desire to continuously learn
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial real estate industry experience
- Finance, business, or economics background
