About Our ClientThe Role: As a HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll lead the talent acquisition efforts, building a pipeline of sales professionals and essential corporate function support roles. You will drive recruitment initiatives, enhance the onboarding experience, and help define our employer brand the organisation grows. This is a fantastic opportunity to directly impact the company's success by attracting the right people and ensuring a seamless candidate experience from initial contact to their first day.The role will initially be remote but once an office is set up in 2025 in Canberra, you will be based in office 4 days per week, while working from home 1 day per week. Job Description

  • Talent Acquisition & Headhunting: Utilise tools like SEEK and LinkedIn Recruiter to proactively source, attract, and engage candidates, with a primary focus on sales professionals / business development professionals.
  • Recruitment Process Management: Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from drafting job descriptions and posting roles to screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and managing candidate communication to ensure a positive experience.
  • Candidate Management & Interviews: Conduct pre-screening, manage interview scheduling, and liaise with hiring managers to identify top candidates. Ensure timely follow-ups and maintain a high-touch approach with candidates throughout the process.
  • Onboarding & Inductions: Design and implement a comprehensive onboarding experience to integrate new hires effectively, ensuring they are fully briefed, equipped, and confident in their roles.
  • Employer Branding & Market Positioning: Develop our employer brand, promoting our unique culture and high-growth environment to attract top talent. Craft outreach messages and employer branding initiatives to boost visibility and interest.
  • KPI Development & Tracking: Collaborate with the founder and management team to establish KPIs for outreach, candidate conversations, and placements, and regularly report on progress.
  • Process Optimisation: Continuously enhance recruitment and onboarding processes to improve efficiency, ensuring that every hire aligns with the company's culture and growth objectives.

Additional HR Support: While talent acquisition is the primary focus, you will also play a part in:

  • Developing HR policies and procedures for effective HR practices.
  • Assisting in performance management and supporting employee development programs.
  • Supporting compensation, benefits, and compliance initiatives as needed.

The Successful ApplicantA Successful HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist Should Have

  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment.
  • Experience recruiting business development or sales professionals is desirable.
