HR Coordinator

Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator performs a variety of administrative activities in support of the Company’s Human Resources, Recruiting, Compliance, Payroll and Administration. Of most importance, the Human Resources Coordinator must exercise discretion and tact in processing documents and information of a confidential or sensitive nature.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruiting:
Assist in the recruiting process: posting open positions, screening candidates, and interview scheduling
Following up with candidates on application status.
Maintain resume data base/files in compliance with applicable laws.
On-boarding:
Assist in the on-boarding process including but not limited to background checks, preparing offer letters; ensuring all documentation is complete.
Notifying internal parties of incoming new hires and coordinating setup
Payroll:
Assist with payroll updates as needed including salary changes, manager, title, and PTO updates.
Reporting:
Assist with tracking mandatory trainings as needed.
Enrolling new hires in mandatory trainings
Pull ad hoc reports for interpreting and analyzing data.
Record keeping:
Assist with updating company forms and policies as needed.
Creates and maintain employee personnel and confidential records.
Filing and maintaining documents in appropriate personnel files.
Assist HR Manager with maintaining and updating unit company job descriptions.
Ensure employee electronic files are accurate and updated and assist with HR reporting and audit requests.
General HR Support:
Support HR team with administrative tasks.
Participate in weekly department meetings as needed.
Assist in creating employee communications and updates.
Complete employment verification's and maintaining oversight of the HR fax.
Help to maintain oversight of HR Outlook inbox and triaging requests to the appropriate person.
Assist with sending out company gifts/spot bonuses as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- ADP Workforce experience is plus
- 1 – 2 years of Human Resources experience preferred
- Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities when needed
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint)
The compensation for this role is $45,000-$50,000
