Uplift Sales are an Enterprise Business Development/Appointment Setting agency who help technology clients generate qualified leads through direct sales outreach. We believe in creating a transparent and rewarding environment for sales people to work and thrive.
This Business Development Representative position will be tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through outbound calling/emailing activities, for a variety of different leading technology clients. The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated. The right candidate will also understand how to assess a company’s needs and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically.
This will be a remote position calling into the Australia region, please only apply if you are eligible to work in Australia. This position will teach you very valuable skills and would be a great starting point in a sales career, no prior sales experience necessarily required but a bonus.
Training/guidance/data/tooling etc on how to be successful will be provided. We promote a flexible and open working environment and are looking for someone to be with us long term.
Responsibilities include:
- High volume of cold calls into target accounts and book qualified appointments
- Research, engage and qualify leads
- Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone and email
- Act as the subject matter expert on product offerings/solution development skills
Qualifications:
This position requires an ambitious self-starter and someone that can effectively outbound prospect and qualify opportunities.
- Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence
- Demonstrated success in prospecting
- High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful company
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
