About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior HR Generalist to join our clients growing team. In this role, you will support a variety of HR functions while also taking responsibility for bookkeeping, managing the company’s financial records, Payroll, and scheduling virtual events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and eager to grow within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:HR Functions

  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with HR policies and legal requirements.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, including wellness programs and team-building activities.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide HR-related guidance.

Bookkeeping & Financial Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Record transactions, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely payments and invoicing.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and budgets.
  • Coordinate with external accountants or auditors as needed.

Event Management

  • Plan and schedule virtual events, such as team meetings, webinars, or training sessions.
  • Manage event logistics, including invitations, reminders, and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of events.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain calendars for HR and company-wide initiatives.
  • Organize and manage confidential documents and contracts.
  • Support leadership with ad hoc administrative tasks.

Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • 0-2 years of professional experience in HR, bookkeeping, or related roles.
  • Familiarity with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and HRIS systems is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Soft Skills:

  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
