We believe in championing every voice and ensuring everyone’s full potential. We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated HR Coordinator for a contract position lasting 6 months to a year. This remote role will support various HR functions, and the ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience working in HR and a proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently. The HR Coordinator will assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and other HR-related tasks. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously are essential for success in this role. This is a fully remote position with no travel required. Working hours are 8:00AM - 5:00PM EST. Responsibilities
- Employment Verification: Process requests for verification of employment for current and former employees.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Assist in the onboarding of new employees and offboarding of departing employees, ensuring all necessary paperwork and processes are completed.
- Performance Management Support: Track and assist with the administration of performance assessments and evaluations.
- HR Communication: Manage the HR department’s inbox and respond to employee inquiries as needed.
- Mail and Documentation Management: Scan, organize, and maintain HR-related documents and correspondence.
- Employee Engagement: Assist with employee engagement initiatives, including the Employee Spotlight and internal communications.
- Organizational Chart Updates: Help maintain and update the company's organizational chart.
- System Updates: Assist with updates to internal systems, including the company intranet, and track user access and expiration dates for various platforms.
- Policy and Procedure Support: Help maintain HR-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure they are up to date.
- Survey Administration: Assist with employee surveys and compile feedback for reporting purposes.
- Calendar Management: Help manage the HR calendar, ensuring key dates and tasks are tracked.
- Regulatory Compliance: Assist with maintaining and updating required workplace posters and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in an HR administrative or coordination role.
- Must be a self-starter, proactive, and capable of managing responsibilities without direct supervision.
- Must have experience working remotely, be comfortable managing tasks independently in a remote environment, and have a suitable home office environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Experience with HR software and systems (experience with ADP, iCIMS, Cornerstone, or similar platforms is a plus).
