About This Job
As a UX/UI Designer at on / Sight, you’ll play a key role in designing engaging and high-performing Shopify eCommerce websites. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, account managers, and clients to create seamless user experiences that drive conversions and build great customer experiences. From wireframes to final UI designs, you’ll ensure every project aligns with brand identity and best practices for usability and accessibility.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, visually compelling Shopify eCommerce websites.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma.
- Developing visual design systems, including color palettes, typography, and iconography.
- Conduct UX research and usability testing to optimize user flows.
- Collaborate with developers and QA Engineers to ensure designs are effectively implemented.
- Stay up to date with eCommerce design trends and best practices.
- Optimize designs for responsiveness, performance, and consistency across devices.
- Provide creative solutions to improve conversion rates and user engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of UX/UI design experience, preferably in eCommerce.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience designing for DTC websites
- Understanding of how design translates to development, ensuring feasibility for implementation (familiarity with HTML, CSS, or Liquid is a plus but not required).
- Strong grasp of user-centered design, informational architecture, user flow, and accessibility best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Job Details
- Full-time Salaried Employee
- Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000
- Location: Denver, CO or Remote
