Women in Digital Economy is an emerging initiative on a mission to empower women around the world to step confidently into the rapidly evolving digital space — from Web3 to AI. Through scholarships, educational programs, and global community events, we’re creating pathways for women to upskill, connect, and transition into high-growth tech industries. As a lean and passionate team in startup mode, we’re building something impactful from the ground up — and we’re looking for the right person to help us scale.
The Role:
We’re seeking a driven, creative, and self-motivated Head of Sales and Business Development to lead sales and partnership outreach. This is a part-time role to start, with a flat monthly fee and commission on sales, and the potential to grow into a full-time leadership position based on performance.
While we’re open to someone earlier in their BD career, we need someone who’s hungry to learn, confident in their communication, and passionate about the mission of empowering women in tech.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive all outbound sales and partnership outreach strategies
- Build and manage sales funnels, lead pipelines, and CRM tools
- Develop and execute cold outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, events, etc.)
- Identify potential sponsors, partners, and collaborators aligned with our mission
- Support in refining and pitching sales decks and partnership proposals
- Track leads, follow-ups, and conversions with clarity and accountability
- Collaborate with the founder on high-priority leads and relationship building
What We’re Looking For:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or partnerships
- Strong communication and outreach skills (written + verbal)
- Confidence in pitching new ideas and communicating our value proposition
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-moving startup environment
- Bonus: experience or interest in Web3, AI, or women’s empowerment spaces
