Join Our Global Team as a Financial Administrator!

Are you a detail-oriented Financial Administrator fluent in English and Spanish with a passion for tackling challenges in a fast-paced, global environment? Eventflare is on the hunt for someone meticulous and driven to join our powerhouse team that consistently achieves the extraordinary.

At the group/holding level, you’ll oversee accounting activities across our diverse ventures—from large, established event companies to rapidly scaling privacy software projects and small-scale consulting firms. This is your chance to be part of a global journey that spans Europe, LATAM, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

Your Mission:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting activities across multiple ventures.
  • Track and follow up on (late) payments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Prepare financial reports such as Cash Flow Statements, VAT Recapitulation, and more.
  • Reconcile monthly VAT submissions with precision and accuracy.
  • Conduct cost control and payroll management for the group.
  • Handle foreign VAT reconciliation and follow-ups.
  • Liaise with foreign accountants to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Support tax structuring and corporate optimisation efforts.
  • Report directly to the CEO on financial updates and key insights.

What You Bring to the Table:

Required:

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken, min. C1 level).
  • Strong understanding of and ability to amend basic legal contracts/agreements.
  • Exceptional analytical and organisational skills; you’re the most structured in the team.
  • A meticulous eye for detail—nothing slips past you.
  • A ‘can-do’ mentality with a solution-oriented mindset; you get things done.
  • A proactive, ambitious attitude and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • A team-player spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand.
  • Residency in Malta to align with operational requirements.

Bonus Points for:

  • Knowledge of VAT rules across different jurisdictions.
  • Familiarity with finance basics (balance sheets, profit and loss, cash flow statements).
  • Experience using Xero or similar accounting software.
  • Financial modelling skills (FAST Standards preferred).
