We are looking for an ICT Business Analyst with 1-3 years experience to support in a full-time, permanent position based in our Sydney Office, with perks of working remotely full-time. The successful candidate will play a key role in proactively assessing, developing and implementing solutions across multiple core business systems to meet current and future business needs. In this role you will work with various clients in multiple industries.
The Role
To help us grow our business in Australia and South East Asia, we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical ICT Business Analyst to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Fiscal Strategy and Outcome Expectations
- Able to work within a budget given from the company or client
- Provided client(s) with cost saving method and strategy, reducing expenses
- Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Assist in gathering, analysing and documenting business and functional requirements for transformation projects
- Contributing to project planning, resource allocation, and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Worked closely with IT, business, and executive teams/clients to ensure the system is maintained securely across platforms.
- Work with stakeholders to identify business challenges, define clear, actionable solutions
- Support process mapping and gap analysis to optimise operations and improve efficiency using real-time data
- Present knowledge and demonstrations through LIVE workshops to colleagues and clients.
- Data Analysis and Insights
- Develop reports and dashboard to track key metrics and inform decision-making
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, business impacts and improvement opportunities
- Support data-driven recommendations to enhance business processes and customer experience
- Process Improvement & Solution Design
- Assist in business process modelling, workflow documents, and user journey mapping
- Collaborate with UX, automation and technology teams to design and refind digital solutions
- Participate in ideation workshops, ensuring stakeholder needs are well understood
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Support stakeholder meetings, workshops and business case development
- Prepare clear and concise documentation, presentations and report for stakeholder review
- Engage with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers and business leaders
- Testing and Implementation Support
- Track and manage post-implementation feedback to ensure continuous improvement
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 1-3 years of related work experience or Bachelor level degree.
- Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation.
- Knowledge and Experience with SQL, Excel, or Python is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Exposure to design thinking.
- Demonstrated understanding of ITIL Framework.
- Strong time management & effort capture skills.
- Proven business acumen.
- Exemplary communication skills.
- Great customer engagement skills.
- Exposure to ERP applications including SAP (Business Central highly regarded)
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Experience identifying, gathering and documenting business requirements
- Experience assessing options for process improvement
- Ability to liaise between various business departments and groups
- Ability to develop business process maps
- Experience in end-to-end systems testing
- Ability to lead and manage detailed analysis work independently
